Maleny Commerce exists to promote, encourage, assist and protect the development of the interests of individuals engaged in free enterprise, business, the professions, tourism and industry in Maleny and district who are members of the association. We promote and assist the business sector of Maleny and district; and in particular the current membership, by providing a reference point to those who are currently involved in business or are looking to establish or relocate their business to Maleny and district.

Ongoing Community Programs

Maleny Commerce hosts the annual Maleny Christmas Festival which has been held in Maleny for the past 70 years or more.

The executive have also instigated a community collaborative group consisting of local service clubs meeting as required to work together in achieving singular projects for the town and in 2019 achieved the Maleny Events Calendar, the continuation of the Maleny Christmas Festival and currently working on the new entrance sign into Maleny.

We support the Glass House Small Business Awards and every 3rd year we host the Sustainable Futures Expo with the last being July 2019 which promotes small business working in the sustainability field.
